Garena is preparing to release the Free Fire Max OB50 update, which will introduce a multitude of exciting new features. Gamers can expect a new character, a futuristic weapon, a new game mode, and the return of the Naruto Chapter 2 collaboration.
Release Date and Availability
The update OB50 will be released on 30th July 2025. Update will begin rolling around 9:30 AM IST. Players might experience temporary server down while the update gets uploaded. After the servers return again, both iOS and Android users can obtain the new patch by visiting their app store.
How Players Can Get OB50 Patch
If You Are Android User:
- Open Play Store on mobile.
- Type “Free Fire Max” in the search bar.
- Find the game and press the Update button.
- Wait until the update finishes downloading fully.
- Then start the game after it is done.
For iOS Users:
- Go to the App Store on your device.
- Search for “Free Fire Max” in the search area.
- Tap on Update when you see the game.
- Let the download finish complete by itself.
- Open game after that is done.
Ensure your device receives internet which doesn’t disconnect, and at least 2GB free space in the phone otherwise may get problems while installing.

Rin – The New Character
There is a new mysterious girl character, Rin, who’s coming. Her ability is not like any other and she will possibly shift the thinking pattern of players in squad and solo modes.
Naruto Chapter 2 Event
This popular anime Naruto is returning once again in Free Fire. Players will be playing Naruto-themed missions and earning skins, clothes, and lots of rewards from that collaboration.
New Mode – Travel Zone
This is an extremely intense mode. When the players get destroyed, they are able to return up to five times. This will make the game more combat-intensive and decrease waiting time.
Select Powers Before Match
Players now can select from 3 powers prior to the match. Each of them provide unique assistance to strategy, so you are able to play as you prefer most.
Weapon Added – Tech Pistol
