Day 3 of the Mementos of Teyvat: Prelude of the Frozen Veil event is bringing two photography challenges that takes place in Sumeru and also in Natlan. These challenges are not just normal snapshots, since they need certain characters, right time settings and also the tools before it can be done. After finishing both of them, players will be able to obtain Primogems, Mora and Hero’s Wit, which is useful for progress and saving resources for later banners.
Apam Woods Challenge in Sumeru
The first photo challenge is happening at Apam Woods, a forest area in Sumeru that is recognized with huge trees and layered ground. The place of the photo spot is already shown inside the event interface, and because teleport points are nearby it is not very difficult to go there.
To make this challenge work, players need to use Paimon’s Kamera, which the event is giving automatically. The photo only counts if there is a Dendro character inside the party. It could be Dendro Traveler or someone else like Collei, Nahida, Alhaitham or Baizhu. Another condition is that the in-game clock must be turned to between 23:00 until 03:00, so players should set it to night time before starting.
Completing the Apam Woods photo rewards:
- 30 Primogems
- 20,000 Mora
- 2 Hero’s Wit
The Sun and Its Blossoms Challenge in Natlan
The second task is placed in Natlan, located west of the Easybreeze Market, near Easybreeze Holiday Resort. This part is colorful and lively, showing the brightness of Natlan, and Tighnari is also appearing as part of the challenge.
For this one, either the Traveler or one Bow character must be used. Some usual choices are Tighnari, Ganyu, Yelan or Fischl. Time also is important here, because it has to be from 12:00 until 16:00, so the scene is under daylight, which matches with the Sun and Blossoms requirement. If all conditions are correct then the photo will register, and rewards can be claimed from event menu.
Completing the Natlan photo rewards:
- 30 Primogems
- 20,000 Mora
- 2 Hero’s Wit
Total Rewards for Day 3
After finishing both the photo tasks, players will get:
- 60 Primogems
- 40,000 Mora
- 4 Hero’s Wit
This is considered a efficient way to gather premium currency and resources without the need to do fighting.
Tips for Completing Day 3 Challenges
There are some ways that makes the tasks easier. The time skip menu can be used so no waiting for hours in game is needed. Checking the party for correct element or weapon is also important, or the photo does not count. It is also helpful to plan a route, like doing Apam Woods during night time first and then going to Natlan in the day. Finally, rewards should be collected quickly from the event tab so they are not left unclaimed.
