While batting first, Hubli Tigers lost the in-form opener, Prakhar Chaturvedi, early, and captain Devdutt Padikkal also got out early on just 7 runs as a run-out. After the early pressure, Mohammed Taha tried to control the inning with Krishnan Shrijith. However, Shashi Kumar K departs Taha on 17 runs of 15 balls, and the next batter, Vijaya Basavaraj Raj, on 9 as well.
Shrijith continued to play his anchor inning and scored a crucial inning of 52 runs off 45 balls. At the end, thanks to a 36-run inning by Shivkumar Rakshith, Hubli Tigers scored 158 runs in 20 overs. Shashi Kumar K and Lavish Kaushal took 2 wickets each, while Prithviraj Shekhawat and Monish Reddy got 1 each.
Carrying forward the ending momentum, the Hubli Tigers started well in the second inning with three early wickets of Luvnith Sisodia, Nikin Jose, and Krishnamurthy Siddharth. However, the next batters, Smaran Ravichandran and Prajwal Pavan, hold the inning.
Both batters played amazingly well according to the situation after early pressure by opposition bowlers. Ravichandran scored 52 runs off 39 balls before getting out to Yash Raj Punja, while Pavan smashed 37 runs off 28 balls. The rest of the work was done by Bangalore Mohith with the unbeaten 26 runs off 18 balls and Pravin Dubey’s 19 crucial runs. Thanks to these innings, Gulbarga Mystics won the match by 4 wickets.
