Thanks to unbeaten fifties from Nikin Jose and Smaran Ravichandran, Mystics chased down the target of 185 in 18 overs, losing just 2 wickets. Lavish Kaushal gives the early breakthrough to Mystics by removing Karthik CA on just 4 runs. However, the next batter, M Venkatesh, built up an amazing partnership with SU Karthik. Venkatesh smashed a total of 77 runs in 50 balls, including 5 fours and 4 sixes. Karthik also played well, scoring 36 runs off 17 balls.
Monish Reddy dismissed the danger, looking as Venkatesh and Lavish came back to get his second wicket of the match and remove Karthik. However, the next batter, Harshil Dharmani, played an outstanding inning of 40 runs off just 23 balls before getting out to captain Vyshak. After his wickets, the Mystics bowlers bounced back in the game and restricted the Warriors to 184 runs. Kaushal took 3 wickets, while Reddy got 2.
While chasing the target of 185, Mystics started amazingly well. Nikin Jose and Luvnith Sisodia gave a flying start to the team in powerplay. However, Karthik CA dismissed Sisodia on 23, but the next batter, Prajwal Pavan, was in his mood. He continues the attack with Jose before getting out on 45 runs off 33 balls.
Smaran Ravichandran comes next, and then both the batters just dominated the Warriors’ bowling attack and helped the Mystics to get their first win of the season by defeating the Warriors by 8 wickets. Nikin Jose scored an unbeaten 52 off 39 balls, while Smaran Ravichandran smashed an unbeaten 52 runs off 22 balls.
