Bengaluru Blasters vs Mangalore Dragons, the Qualifier 2 of the Maharaja T20 Trophy 2025 played on 27 August at Srikantadatta Narasimha Raja Wadeyar Ground, Mysore, where the Dragons emerged as winners by 7 wickets, proving most of our predictions right. The bowlers of the Mangalore Dragons restricted the Blasters to 152 runs with a combined effort, while the openers Lochan Gowda and Sharath BR attacked from the very start and made it one-sided at the end to win the match by 7 wickets. Mangalore Dragons captain Shreyas Gopal won the toss and elected to bowl first against Bengaluru Blasters in Qualifier 2.

Captain Shreyas Gopal led from the front by giving a great start to the team. He dismissed both the openers of the Bengaluru Blasters, LR Chethan and Mayank Agarwal, early. Abhilash Shettly, with his oustanding bowling removes Shubhang Hegde on 1 and Kruthik Krishna on duck. All pressure was on the Blaster, but Rohan Patil showcased an amazing display of batting with his resistance and boundary-hitting ability.

He holds the one end while the other end keeps losing the batters. Thanks to Rohan’s unbeaten 86 runs off 52 balls, including 7 fours and 6 sixes, Bengaluru Blasters scored 152 runs in 19.4 overs before getting all out. Gopal took 3 wickets, while Abhilash Shetty and Macneil Noronha got 2 each.

While chasing the target of 153, Mangalore Dragons openers Lochan Gowda and Sharath BR. Both batters start the attack from the very start and eliminate every chance for opponents to come back into the game. Lochan scored an unbeaten 62 runs off 51 balls, and Sharath smashed 43 runs off 21 balls, including 6 fours and 2 sixes. Pallavkumar Das and Macneil Hadley Noronha also played well, and the Dragons won the match by 7 wickets and qualified for the final.
