While batting first, the Mangaluru Dragons’s openers started amazingly well. Both played an attacking form of cricket from the start and dominated the opposition bowlers. Lochan Gowda scored 49 runs off 32 balls, while Sharath BR smashed 45 runs off 22 balls. Mohsin Khan dismissed both batters before the milestones.
The next two batters, Thippa Reddy and Macneil Noronha, walked back early after scoring 12, respectively.
