Bengaluru Blasters vs Shivamogga Lions, the 22nd match of the ongoing KSCA’s Maharaja Trophy 2025, has concluded with the Blasters winning it by 7 wickets, proving most of our predictions right. The same story happened for the Lions as they continued this season. They struggled in batting, managing to put up only 111 runs in 20 overs, and the Blasters chased down the target in 14.4 overs and won the match by 7 wickets thanks to the unbeaten 74-run inning of Rohan Patil. Shubhang Hegde, captain of the Bengaluru Blasters, won the toss and elected to field first in the 22nd match of the league against the struggling Shivamogga Lions.

Captain Shubhang Hegde gave an amazing start to the Blasters by sending Dhruv Prabhakar on a two-ball duck. Naveen MG removes the next batter, Sanjay Ashwin, on 1 run. However, Lions captain Aneeshwar Gautam tried to control the inning, but Naveen MG dismissed Gautam on 23 runs, and the team then started to lose wickets at regular intervals. V Koushik played an impactful knock of 18 runs off 12 balls to help the team reach 111 runs total in 20 overs. Madhav Prakash Bajaj took 4 wickets, while Naveen MG got 3.

Bengaluru Blasters also struggled in the start as Lions bowlers removed in-form LR Chethan on 1 run and Mayank Agarwal on duck. However, the next batter, Rohan Patil, counterattacked the bowlers with his amazing batting. After an early wicket, he set the partnership with Bhuvan Raju and played a knock of an unbeaten 74 runs off 45 balls, including 7 fours and 3 sixes. Thanks to this inning, Bengaluru Blasters comfortably won the match by 7 wickets with 5.2 overs remaining
